Our reamers are available in all grades of tool steel and solid carbide, and can be. They can be manufactured to different lengths, geometrical forms, diameters, tolerances and flute configurations to suit your individual requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lomas reamers are supplied with precision ground flutes which create smooth, accurate holes and ensure a long tool life. Our reamers are ground to a high surface finish between carbide lapped centres, providing concentricity and extremely close tolerances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Type \u2019S\u2019 (Standard Length)<\/h4><\/div>

These are our standard range of Aircraft Reamer manufactured in M42 Cobalt Material with reduced shanks for easy chucking. Available in all reaming \/ pilot diameter configuration with fully hardened \/ ground blanks in stock for a quick turnaround.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Type \u2019T\u2019 (Threaded Shank)<\/h4><\/div>
\n

Lomas Threaded Shank Pilot Reamers are manufactured in M42 to the same high specification as Type \u201cS\u201d. Manufactured with 1\/4-28 UNF Class A threaded shanks for accurate reaming in limited space applications. Other threaded shank sizes \/ styles available on request.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Type \u2019L\u2019 (Long Series)<\/h4><\/div>
\n

Type \u201cL\u201d long series pilot reamers have a standard total length of 6\u201d (150mm) with 4\u201d (100mm) Flute length and are designed to produce larger diameter close tolerance holes or for longer reach applications. Long Series reamers are available with fully ground straight or spiral flutes and max. 0.500\u201d (12.7mm) diameter shanks.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
